This is a post inspired by all things abandoned, this will be about the strange and forgotten things... The following pictures bring up ideas of the still air, dust peppering the sunlight, be warned, you are trespassing on the resting place of the rejected. Abandoned shipwrecks, objects and man made masterpieces. None of the pictures are referenced and they are not of my own devising.
Deserted places given over to nature to decay, it conjures to the mind Anastasia in the Romanov Palace, James Cameron with the remains of the Titanic.
The abandonment of hard work and dedication of many human minds and hands.
The workers, planners, bosses all that remains is the structures.
Psychometry - an extra sensory power, by touching an object you get visions or a sense of that object's history.
Useful, to useless.
There is a beauty in the devolving of a place or object.
A horror in the wasted effort and uninhabited remains of human creation.
It is tragic, it is a waste and it is beautiful.
Pollution, art and mystery.
Discarded.
Alone, empty and forgotten.
Odd and bewildering, the quirkiness that takes over after human neglect.
